These terms govern your use of Roost. By using the app, you agree to them.
The service
Roost helps two partners track places to live and produces an AI recommendation from your inputs. It is provided as-is and may change or pause over time.
Your account
You sign in with Apple. You are responsible for the activity in your account and for the people you invite to your shared search.
Your content
You keep ownership of the places, notes, reactions, and priorities you add. You grant Roost permission to store and process that content (including sending it to our AI provider, OpenAI) solely to operate the app and generate your recommendation.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app: no unlawful content, no attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, and no using it to harass anyone.
AI recommendations are not advice
Roost's rankings and recommendations are informational only. They are not professional, financial, legal, or real-estate advice. You make your own housing decisions; verify details (price, terms, condition) yourself.
No affiliation
Roost is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple, Zillow, or any listing provider. Listing links and data belong to their respective owners.
Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is," without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, Roost is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Termination
You may stop using Roost and request deletion of your data at any time. We may suspend access for violations of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms; we'll revise the date above when we do.
